This experience happened at 6:30 pm on Friday 2/28/25. I looked at your website, noticed you accepted walk-ins, and noted that your shop is open until 9 pm. My son and I walked into your shop at 6:30 pm and spoke with the only two employees working, who were friendly and working on clients, about whether they could take us next. One responded, " Nah, I'm done after this," and the other stated, "I've got stuff to do after this." So does your shop not accept walk-ins and is it not open until 9 pm? UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner and they provided an opportunity for me and my son to give the shop another try. The owner made it a priority to get us scheduled and provided a discount. We were very satisfied with the response, our haircuts and overall experience. We will be going back and I highly recommend other's to do so as well. Thank you!

Gabe is a true professional!! He does such an awesome job. Very laid back guy, awesome to talk to and never fails to give a perfect cut. With salons I’ve always had a hard time feeling like I’m being heard with what I’m going for. Gabe listens extremely well and is a true hair artist. Always leave feeling fresh! Appreciate you!!

5 STARS- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Omar at Chips Barbershop is hands down the best barber I’ve been to. He’s got serious skills, pays attention to the details, and always makes sure I leave looking sharp. The vibe in the shop is chill, and Omar’s professionalism and consistency make every visit a great experience. Whether it’s a fresh fade, beard trim, or just cleaning things up, he always delivers. Highly recommend booking with him—you won’t be disappointed!

Gabe is talented in his craft, a great conversationalist, and a good human. Highly recommend him. Chip's in Eau Claire has a great atmosphere. My two teenage boys love their cuts as well!

Amazing place to get your haircut. All the barbers are really funny. I specifically had Aiden and he was amazing. Did exactly what I needed plus some. He was really fun to talk to. If you’re looking for a barbershop to go to in Eau Claire. I’d go here. this is a 10 out of 10 place

I have been getting my haircut at Chips for a few years now and I have had nothing but a great experience. Caleb has been my barber for the last year and he is both very welcoming and personable. It's obvious through interacting with him that he cares about his craft and giving people the haircut they want and he speaks highly of his fellow barbers and mentor, Chapin. I would highly recommend both the shop and Caleb the next time you're looking for a haircut.
